Loading Cura onto a MAC system for use with a Monoprice MINI-Select Printer

I am just starting out with 3D printing and purchased a mono price mini-select system. since I use a MAC system the CURA files that came with the system will not work. When started using 15.04 and then saw the update for 2.6 and upgraded. Since then my system will not work via USB and when it does print the print starts in the left front corner. When I print from my MSD it prints in the center of the bed and without any problems. I suspect that I am not selecting the right printer to get the CURA software from. Is there a MAC setup wizard or a recommended printer to select?

Appreciate any direction or help.

Bill

We depend on others to provide the right settings for non ultimaker printers. We don't test those at all.

It could well be that the provided files for that printer are wrong.
