Cura 2.7 memory leak?

With an idling Cura 2.7 and a connected printer printing stand-alone prints from USB key. the memory of Cura seems to increase over time. Can anybody confirm similar observations?

You mean using a few GB for a simple small STL is not normal? The situation should get better in 6 days.

This shouldn't happen for the 3.0 release anymore.

Thanks guys, but the next question arises: "When can we expect Cura 3.0?", and: "Does it have a new material model for custom material specification?"

Edit: Just found out that it is in two weeks time!

Just updated to Cura 3.3.1   At the end of my 9 hour print I had memory problem with my  Windows 7 box.

Checking Cura memory usage  I found Cura was increasing  working memory by 160 kb/minute.

At that time working memory was 96 Mb and virtual was 312 Mb

Is this normal ? Haven't really checked on Cura memory data before since I saw no problem.
