first tinky toky was a little hungry after being printed, so it flew up to our fridge, pulled the door open with its strong PLA beak and made itself at home...

What kind of pot you got up there in Leipzig? :D

Fun aside: Sometimes it's crazy how attached you get to a great print.

    Take care Ian!

as someone once said.... all you need is love......ly 3d printers.... ;-)

i dont really have a problem with getting attached to my prints... because I know if they are really nice. Orthia just puts her fingers on them, says... ohhh thats very nice (smiling face) and then wammmmm, its gone......

I think i years to come Orthia will have a really nice collection of printed objects and help tools...

    Ian ;-)

Tinky Toky was not very content with just meeting his german cousin RALF, so he decided he needed to fly and see the world.... after pushing through half a dozen drunk irish football fans falling from the pubs of berlin into Schonefeld airport, Tinky Toky was on his way to find his irish connections....

TINKY TOKY was a little nervous and was pulled over my airport security for a few questions... its not every day dublin airport gets an ultimaker PLA TINKY TOKY !

it was a strange feeling, a massive light up irish flag as wall decoration and at the same time overfed irish police men putting rubber latex gloves onto their hands... I wonder whats going to happen next ?

instantly tinky toky was the centre of attention and before he could say... I AM A TINKY TOKY ! he found his first irish friend SEAMUS and his first irish pint of Guinness.... Tinky Toky was starting to think... maybe iv found home.....

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
