When I try to save a file from cura to the ultimaker SD-card it gives this error.

Card is not locked by the lid.

I tried both Mac and windows.

How can I transfer a file to the SD card?

    I'd get another SD card.

Are you sure you don't have lock/unlock backwards regarding the little switch on the SD card?

Thanks, I figures out the problem.

The cars was connected to the PC with a card reader..

Direct plugged in SD card worked fine.

Card reader, is what the name indicates, just a reader I think.

try to erase your SD Card or USB in this way...

    Format: MS-DOS (FAT)

    Scheme: Master Boot Record

      • Ultimaker Cura 5.6 stable released
Cura now supports Method series printers!

A year after the merger of Ultimaker and MakerBotQQ, we have unlocked the ability for users of our Method series printers to slice files using UltiMaker Cura. As of this release, users can find profiles for our Method and Method XL printers, as well as material profiles for ABS-R, ABS-CF, and RapidRinse. Meaning it’s now possible to use either Cura or the existing cloud-slicing software CloudPrint when printing with these printers or materials
