Arrange All Models - Spacing Tolerance - Possible to change?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to fit 9 hexagonal items onto my print bed and it is only allowing me to fit 7 of them with the arrange all models option.  If i play around I can fit up to12 of these items onto my print bed with adequate spacing, but only 9 is needed.  Is there a way to adjust the spacing tolerance for the Arrange All Models feature?

Yes, I know I can manually just rearrange things but I am going to have to do this for every print and I need to make about 30-40 different batches.  Changing this would save me a large amount of time.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
