Support Controls

I would love to be able to remove from the mesh specific supports generated in Cura and that are not able to be removed by tweaking settings. Any chance of this?

 

I have only ever used Cura but the pull to another slicer that everyone says has awesome support controls is getting harder to resist.

you can always make your own supports in your 3D Package and have total control.

Yes, if you own and can use a 3D package. I'm beginning to learn Fusion but I'm a long way from designing my own supports in it.

Meshmixer, a standalone free package is good software for adding you own supports to a model. There is a link on the forum somewhere to a great paper by one of our members on how to uses supports in  Meshmeixer. Several years old but a search on Meshmixer will probably show it up.
