A model when sliced with Cura shows that 2m of material (PLA) is required to 3D Print it.
Does that mean if I have about 2m of PLA filament or a little more than it, will that be sufficient to print the part??
Or should we have additional material on the spool, equivalent to the length of the bowden tube ?
You should definitely have more material, at least equivalent to the bowden tube, and perhaps a bit more because the estimates given by the printer are not really accurate, even for the UM spools that are recognized by the NFC tag. But you definitely need to take into account the bowden tube since the feeder is at the beginning of the bowden and not at the printcores, which means that whatever filament is left in the bowden once your spool is empty will never be pushed further, thus it won't pri
