Not so much scared of the massive list, but trying to find 1 needle in the haystack is daunting. Perhaps a search function is in the future?
The latest release also has visibility presets.

Note that for Cura 3.3 there is only a fixed set of visibility presets. Under the hood the system is ready for custom presets, but there is not yet a UI for this. If you already want to experiment with custom visibility presets, have a look at the files inside the resources/setting_visibility folder inside the application folder. Your custom setting visibility presets go into the setting_visibility folder inside the configuration folder.
