I am using Cura 3.2.1 on a Mac (10.13.4). My Cura is working fine. I am hoping to add a script under extensions -> post-processing -> modify G-Code. Right now I see 8 scripts ("pause at height" down to "tweak at Z"). I read elsewhere that I can make my own and add them at the path indicated by Help -> Show Configuration Folder.

When I go to that folder ( /Users/username/Library/Application\ Support/cura/3.2/scripts ) it is empty, and I can't find the location of the python scripts elsewhere. Can anyone suggest where else to look (or how else to add a script)?

The reason I want to modify the G-Code is that Cura is inserting extra M109 S200 T0 commands every time the extruder switches, and even though I am not letting the extruders cool down it is making the program halt for 10-60 seconds while the M109 completes.

Thanks!

Chris

The standard scripts can be found in the Package Contents of the application bundle. Right click on the Cura.app, select Show Package contents, and navigate to Contents/resources/scripts (or similar, this is by head).

Your own scripts go into the Application Support folder you found.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
