This is my first entry on this community site.  I have 2 3d printers, I have been printing for about a year now with great success. I use Cura for all my slicing, most of the default settings I have kept but there is one I would like to change which I haven't been able to locate or recognize. My first printer(monoprice mini 120) when sliced, lets assume 100% fill.  Each layer prints in a cross pattern: the first layer will be at a 45 degree angle, the next layer will be at 90 degrees to the first layer.  Printer #2(CR10S) with the defaults at 100% fill prints and follows the wall outline for each layer.  I would like to change it so that it prints each layer at 90 degrees to the previous layer.

    • Architect Design Contest | People
The goal of this contest is to design a set of people figurines that could be used in such a project to make an area, office or mall seem populated.
Think of different types of people in different environments, like walking people, people standing still, working people, and both men and women.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
