First Production S5 in Thailand

Recommended Posts

Posted · First Production S5 in Thailand

The Ultimaker Dealer for Thailand, Septillion, brought my New S5 down to Jomtien beach, installed it , personally gave me 2 hours of training and help me start my first print. He has a pre production unit he demo's on but said mine if the first Production S5 in Thailand. I just sold my technology company and retired to my penthouse here. When you own a company you are many things, but when it get big you really don't get to be an engineer. I'm retired now and getting to be an engineer again; I'm designing electronic, writing code on my Mac for my Ipad and iPhone,, ESP32's and other stuff. And putting up big ham magnetic loop antennas on my private roof of my penthouse 56 stories up on the Gulf of Thailand. I have a big lab for all this for the first time in years and the time to enjoy it. I have never needed to turn my A/C on except to test it. I always have a cool ocean breeze keeping me cool. It's going to be interesting to see if the ocean moisture effects my 3D printing. I'll send some pictures of my first print with the S5 soon.
