Switching from S3D, need help to configure my printer

Posted · Switching from S3D, need help to configure my printer

Hi guys

Ive been want to give CURA a try but when I tied to switch over I hit a few snags.. .need some help.

My printer is a CTC dual with sailfish FW.

I have added the X3G writer plug-in and that part seems ok.

The main problem seems to be my print speed appears to be extremely slow, like 1 mm per second even though I have CURA set to 50mm/s

This extra slow speed is on X , Y and Z so I think i have missed a global setting somewhere?

In CURA preferences I have selected G-Code flavor to be 'Makerbot'

Have I missed anything else?

Thanks
