problem Z axis

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited) · problem Z axis

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem with my printer. It has started producing inconsistent print errors in the z-axis.

The layers are being produced one on top of the other, ie the axis is not going up the required value.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

Lucas

Welcome Lucas,

I will be much easier if you could post some pictures and also which printer you are using.

Have a clean your z-screw thoroughly?

Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
