Starting an external process using QProcess in a plugin

Recommended Posts

I'm developping a plugin for Cura. So I use PyQt5 and Uranium. I use the QProcess Object and start it... but nothing append. I use the log message to see if there is an error but it seems ok. I write the same code only in PyQt5 and it execute as expected.

I also tried to use the call function from subprocess (pyton 3) and same result when as using QProcess : external project ok ; Cura ko.

Do Cura have some restrictions ? How can I start my process from it ?

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
