Hi,

In Cura 3, where you add a printer, can select the diameter of Nozzle, and this changes globally all diameters materials.... but in cura 4, this menu, its not in the same localitation....

Where/How i can change the nozzle diameter of my printer?

Thanks

Thats right, you have to install the plugin "printer settings" from the marketplace which installs in the settings box on the right where you can find the diameter setting again.

Another possibility is to change it in the materials pane in preferences.

But I guess you have to add your own profiles to change them, because you cannot edit the stock profiles.

Yes, as I learned from another thread, the plugin structure has changed between 3.6 and 4.0 so, the plugins need an update. I guess thats the reason why the marketplace is nearly empty at the moment.

But the materials pane in preferences should work.

until now, i am using a printer, not my model... but now i have erase it, and add a custom printer.... and in this printer can select the filament diameter....

Installed the plugin Printer Settings from the Marketplace. Cura 4.3.0. Rebooted Cura. Nothing extra has appeared. Did I do something wrong?

All I need to do is alter the diameter. My measured filament diameter is 1.722mm, and my prints show slight under extrusion.

So I followed the second bit of advice, I duplicated the generic PLA and altered its diameter.
