Posted · Retracting Not Working in 3.6 or 4,

Hello i am using a Robo R1+ printer and i am trying to get the Retraction working but i am having no luck. i have tried almost all of the settings in Cura 3.6 but nothing will make the material retract. i thought maybe it was the marlin software but then i tried Cura 15 then all of the sudden BOOM the material retraction worked, but the prints were not turning out good and there are not as many options as i would like... so back to cura 3.6 i tried updating to 4 but still nothing. the strange thing is i can get the Z hop to work but the material doesn't retract so it just leaves a blob every time it goes up. retract settings attached. any ideas?
