I recently updated both Simplify 3d and Cura 4.0. now that ive done that my U3 extended wont work correctly. i can save files to a USB drive, plug it in, start the print and then it fails out going to a "LOADING..." on the U3 screen, then goes back to the main menu. i have tried to revert to a previous version 3.1.1 for S3D and it wont work now as well. ive tried using Cura 4.0 to print and it fail to "Bed leveling Failure, unable to level print bed" comes up.. then it Aborts the print and resets back to the main menu.

Ive tried a hard restart, factory reset, (which now my printer wont even set up the WIFI) tried multiple times, gone in and used the Cura Connect reset, it says it has made a "Hotspot" that doesnt show up on ANY tablet/phone/computer in my house hold.

ive tried everything i can think of plus all the so called "HELP" clicks i can find.

i fyou need more info on system or anything lemme know

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
