Posted (edited) · Diagonal speed limit raft print speed

On my Creality Ender 3 printer, when rafts generated by Cura 4.0.0 are being printed, when the direction of the lines are diagonal using both X and Y motors, it seems I always get under-extrusion and ultimately jamming of my bowden tubes. It rarely happens at any other times in my prints. Observing the extruder I see the bearing slipping when the gear tries to push the filaments in.

Please note that I am using flexible TPU filament from AmazonBasics and that this issue may be unique to this filament and printer combo (stock, upgrade Bowden tubes incoming 😄).

Print speed I had was 20mm/s

Could someone with similar equipment investigate? Potentially better equipment might require higher speeds to encounter the same issue.

Edit: Also another thing I notice after going through all options is that inner wall speed maybe twice as fast than "Global Speed" set. My main issue is the rate the filament is being extruded.

I'd like to feature request that max extrusion speed be added per materials per printer.

Thanks!
