Problem with filament on Ultimaker 3 extended

Posted · Problem with filament on Ultimaker 3 extended

Hello!

I know this has been covered before but I can not get it to work with the previous suggestions so I thought I should make my own post.

I have problem with the feeder and the filament not going through.

I have cleaned the feeder, the head and the tube. I have tried with different tension on the feeder wheel, could it be a temperature issue? (as I said now I am printing with standard settings).

I use CURA 4.0.

I tried to print a test cube with standard settings and ultimaker PLA material.

It starts off fine but then it just gets weird. Anybody have any ideas on what the problem can be and how I can solve it?

Thank you for your help!

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
