Unfortunately this is not a Digital Factory issue, but the printer actually not having a distinct state for printing vs clearing the build plate (it only goes to 'finished' after clearing the build plate). I'll talk to the embedded systems team to see if they can introduce a new state for this.

Weirdest thing -- today, I see that the Digital Factory shows a "Finished" state, with a green bar, even though we haven't yet pushed the "Print Removed" button on the printer.  This is great!

Any Chance we'll see this implemented in the near future? I love UDF and the Camera functionality of the S5 is super useful when not in the building to monitor prints. I would love to see a camera option added to UDF for the UM3, even if it only updates every 15-20 seconds or so. Any update is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

 

Unfortunately I have no update on this yet. It's still on the planning to work on a UM3 update, but no release date can be confirmed at this time.

@2021coyneo Firmware v5.2.17 for the UM3 is out now and has support for the webcam !
