Cura always adds two .gcodes on file save

Recommended Posts

Posted · Cura always adds two .gcodes on file save

I,m running Cura, currently 4.0 under Linux and it works great, however, whenever i convert an *.stl file and save it as *.gcode, Cura fills the name in with .gcode.gcode at the end of the filename.  This is really annoying,  I can't seem to find a way to turn this off.

Example: open "my3dprint.stl", slice it and save file, Cura will offer the name as "my3dprint.gcode.gcode" instead of just "my3dprint.gcode"

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
