Importing 3mf-files change visibility of settings

Hey guys,

 

i got some 3mf files from a friend and imported them into Cura. 

The problem I experience is, that due that import Cura change which print settings are visible. 

This only happens if I'm importing them as a project, not just loading the models. 

 

It is really annoying since every time I have to get all my settings back. 

As a workaround I just saved a 3mf file with just a small object and all settings visible now so I can reconstruct it. But is there a easier way?

 

Note: An empty build plate don't work

Yes, install Aldo's excellent setting visibility saver plugin and then you can simply reload your settings after loading a project.

Thanks for the reply. 

This is a very nice plugin, I still think that they should remove the visibility change at import, but with this it's getting much easier
