Dearly beloved,

I just noticed that after having been retired from the main Ultimaker.com site branding, a recent update to the forum saw the final passing of our friend the Ultibot as the friendly face of the Ultimaker community. I fear that its final vestige in the Cura splash-screen will not be long lived.

I still have a ton of Ultibot business cards, so until those are gone, it isn't really dead.

Looks like he's undergone quite a bit of plastic surgery while he was gone...

      • Ultimaker Cura 5.6 stable released
Cura now supports Method series printers!

A year after the merger of Ultimaker and MakerBotQQ, we have unlocked the ability for users of our Method series printers to slice files using UltiMaker Cura. As of this release, users can find profiles for our Method and Method XL printers, as well as material profiles for ABS-R, ABS-CF, and RapidRinse. Meaning it’s now possible to use either Cura or the existing cloud-slicing software CloudPrint when printing with these printers or materials
