Custom materials on Ultimaker S5

is there a way to add custom materials to the Ultimaker S5 touch screen menu?

Currently not for custom materials. Only materials which you have added via the Marketplace are synced to the printer.

But the feature should come sometime.

 

But actually it is not really necessary, the material selection on the printer is only used for loading and unloading, so that the printer knows how hot the PrintCore should be. Everything else comes from Cura and is completely independent of what you have set on the printer.

So basically select any material with a somewhat similar printing temperature..
