Yes ... but it is for start the print ... not for just saving the GCODE
But that's the behavior of this option. When you don't have selected "start print" then the gcode is only stored on your Octoprint device and nothing will be started. Or in other words, not starting means you only save the gcode.

I checked it yesterday. Unfortunately the GCODE will be transfered to the SD-Card and the filename will be cropped.
Is there a chance to save it to a local Pi folder?

The same Connect to OctoPrint dialog has a checkbox to store the gcode file to the Sd card in the printer. Turn that off.

Ok ... got it.
I did not dare to click on the "connect to octoprint" button again.
This is why I was not check all the options ... :-)
