Best filament for 3D printing bolts and threaded rods.

I'm wanting to print some bolts or threaded rods and I'm wondering what the best filament is for this application.

I've done it in PLA before and it works pretty good, I've also done Nylon and that also works pretty good but I'm worried that nylons flexibility won't lead to the best thread, perhaps PETG is a better choice?

What's the general preferred material for strong threads?

Have a look at CNC kitchen on Youtube. you can find tons of videos where different material, infill pattern and others have been tested.

Good to know,

Well, I tried Nylon 6 which seems to work pretty well, Imitating a 1/2" X 20 bolt.

Polycarbonate to me personally, but you have to use breakaway.

Our efforts consist of 2 layers. First; connect medical institutions and hospitals to (local) 3D Printing hubs to help them print parts of which a 3D model already exists. And second, contribute to design the necessary part and then have it printed via a (local) 3D printing hub.
