Posted (edited) · S5 Filament Pickup Failure - Pro Bundle

I am writing to see if anyone has advice on how to solve my issue. I recently received a second S5 Pro Bundle and have had quite a bit of issues with it. While the first machine has been working quite well and reliable the second machine seems to be struggling.

The issue is when a print is staring while attached to the Material Station. The Material Station starts feeding the required filament to extruder 1 but the extruder motor on the back of the S5 fails to turn on and puck up the filament. My first thought was something may be wrong with the extruder motor, however when I configure the machine without the Material Station everything prints as expected and the extruder functions like normal.

Firmware is up to date: 5.5.12.20200226 (Both printers running same firmware)

I have Factory Reset twice, no luck.

Everything on the touch screen indicated correctly i.e. filament type, bay number etc..

I have unplugged and re-plugged everything in multiple time, no change.

I have not tried rolling back firmware to see if there is any change.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
