Print only support interface from extruder 2

Hello

Coming from Slicer I am new to Cura and can't figure out the correct settings to print only the support interfaces from extruder 2 (solubel material). I know that I can set the extruder for the support, for first support layer, for support infill and for the support interface. I have tried a couple of combinations but every time the resulting infill is quite different from the one I'll get when the support is printed only with one extruder.

As an example I have sliced Benchy3D with the basic "Fine" profile with minor changes (Skirt + Prime Tower). Screenshots are layer 28. Whenever I try to use different extruders, the infill is nearly gone.

First Screenshot: All Extruders for Support are set to Extruder 2

Second Screenshot: Extruder 2 for Support, Extruder 1 for Support Infill

Third Screenshot: Extruder 1 for Support and Support Infill, Extruder 2 for Support Floor and Support Interface

I don't really understand what you say, but just to be sure I'll point out the obvious.... you do get that the settings for the support extruder show when you select the 2th tab?

    Hi ultiarjan,

    thank you for your reply.

Yes, that's my setup. While I have made some new screenshots I have figured out where my problem is: If i keep the settings under support as in the first picture below (every extruder selection set to Extruder 2) I'll get and infill with PVA made up from triangels (picture 1 of my original post) with a density of 50%.

If I change the infill extruders like on picture 2 below, then Cura will automatically use different settings for the infill (Pattern = Zig Zag, Density = 15% and also some other settings are changed). This give barely no infill with PLA, just an outer shell (picture 2 of my original post). If i revert this settings to match them with the settings for infill with PVA I'll get the full support infill.

I had not expected that the support infill parameters change automatically dependet on extruder/material.
