hi, I am using ultimaker cura 4.6.2. I choose in the configuration panel a material. For example eSun PETG (printing temperature 245°, fan speed 40%) Whatever material I choose: In the print setting is always displayed 200°. Also every other value doesn't change. How get my wanted eSun PETG settings in the print settings?

There are some explanations about the "stacked profile system" on the developer-wiki:

    https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/wiki/Profiles-&-Settings

The material settings are on the very bottom of the stack, so it's very likely that - in your example - the temperature is overridden by a profile with higher priority.

The whole calculation depends on the chosen printer definition (and quality profile). Most of the non-Ultimaker profiles are contributed by the community (or more rarely by printer manufacturers).

    Which printer is it?

Isn't there a reset icon visible like explained in the manual (6)?

It's a Anycubic Mega-S. The icon visible is the fx manual (7) clicking that the value changes in the desired value and the arrow manual (6) appears, clicking the arrow icon the value switches back to the undesired value.

It seems that the material changing works this way. Default printing temperature is transferred right, but the other important values like: Default Build Plate Temperature, Standby Temperature, Retraction Distance, Retraction Speed, Fan Speed don't get tranferred. This happens also with other materials from different companies in the database.

(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
