Cura 4.7 closes when trying to setup

Hi, i have just updated to Cura 4.7 and i'm having a problem. When trying to run through the setup, cura just closes! ive uninstalled 8 times, checked windows for updates, reinstalled.... but it still closes. i cant get it to work. does anybody have any idea of what can be causing this issue?

Had the same problem.

I installed it twice over it's self.

Did not uninstall it between installs.

In windows, do a command prompt, using administrator.

type "CHKDSK /F" in your C drive. Checks and fixes errors on you hard drive if you have any.
