Building a bigger Printer

I am looking to build a printer with a 600X600x600mm build volume. Any information on designing a larger format 3D printer would be much appreciated.

I think Joris has something he calls an ultimaker ++ or something like that at their fabshop, essentially using the same stuff as an ultimaker, but with longer rods. I would definitely ask them.
