Internal geometry keeps getting filled by Infill setting

Hello! I have a project I'm working on that requires essentially a ring with internal magnets. I have set up the print with 8 radially placed 4.2mmx2.2mm pockets, and plan to pause the print at the top layer of these pockets to insert the magnets before resuming the print. The issue I'm having is that while Cura seems to recognize this internal geometry without issue, it seems to be completely ignored by the infill generation.

  • I have tried testing every infill type, and they all have the same issue.
  • I have confirmed that 'Union Overlapping Volumes' is unchecked.
  • I have confirmed that the internal face normals are correct in Blender

Attached are the STL and the gcode file. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hallo Banditbat

Hast du eventuell eine Stützfunktion aktiviert?

Ich kann an deinem Augenring nichts ungewöhnliches entdecken. Bei mir wird er so gedruckt, wie die .stl es zeigt!

    Analyzed by Meshmixer:

The pockets are marked with errors. There are probably doubled or not connected vertices or something similar.

    Hope that helps.
