YouMagine New Item Summaries

Due to the way that the posts to the 'New Content' thread are made, it's impossible to see what the latest posts are without going to the page itself. If you click on the little 'Preview This Topic' disclosure arrow from the list view, all of the new entries just read as 'If you have comments or feedback for this item, please post it here...'.

In addition, the page is starting to get quite long now, and jumping to the very end is getting a bit tedious from the list view as you have to click on either the date or the last page number box.

Wouldn't it be better to break these all out into separate posts, or failing that, is there a way to at least make the item summaries be something meaningful?
