Feature Request for Arranging Models

First of all: Thanks to all those actively working on Cura and bringing us this 4.8 beta!  Cura is great and the beta just made automatic object positioning a lot more usable, but ...

I would love to see a setting where you could indicate that your printer has a preference for a certain axis (ex. because of a heavy bed making Y movement more tricky than X movement) and then have the object positioning taking that into account so that first the preferred direction is filled up before extending in the other direction.  The current algorithm seems to try to put all objects as close to the center as possible, but often that is not ideal for i3-alike printers with a heavy bed moving for the Y axis ...

As far as I know, the current algorithm doesn't have a way to prefer a certain direction. So to build that, some very large refactoring would be needed. Since it's not something that Ultimaker printers suffer from, I don't think that we will put any time in that.

If someone does decide to implement this, we would be more than happy to have a look at pull requests.
