Combing Mode

Hello everyone

I have some issues with the travel distances on my print.

I tried changing the combing mode, but I don't see any changes at all. Is this a bug or did I understand something wrong with the combing settings?

I attached two pictures with combing "not in skin" and "off". Also there is the .stl file of the model.

The goal is to avoid the print head move over printed areas, because plastic oozes out of the hotend.

Thanks for any help!

      • Ultimaker Cura 5.6 stable released
Cura now supports Method series printers!

A year after the merger of Ultimaker and MakerBotQQ, we have unlocked the ability for users of our Method series printers to slice files using UltiMaker Cura. As of this release, users can find profiles for our Method and Method XL printers, as well as material profiles for ABS-R, ABS-CF, and RapidRinse. Meaning it’s now possible to use either Cura or the existing cloud-slicing software CloudPrint when printing with these printers or materials
