Material station dehumidifier question

Does the power switch on the s5 have to be turned on for the dehumidifying feature to be active on the material station?

 

or is enough to have the power plugged in and s5 power switch off?n

Hey @Rpmaguire,

 

you need not to switch on the S5 itself. Just leave the power plug in and everything is fine.

Does the light on the material station stay on all the time, or is there a way to turn it off, but keep the material station plugged in?

Yes, you can switch the lights off on the S5 and then the lights of the Material Station go off as well.
