Ultimaker 2 settings hidden in Cura?

Why is it settings like retraction speed are not in Cura when U2 is the selected machine? Is there a way to get them back?

Because with a UM2, retraction speed, filament diameter, temperature and whatever other settings that go missing are now set in the printer user interface. This allows you to slice the file once, and then change all those things before - or during - printing.

Seems like a pain at first, but actually it's quite helpful once you get used to it.
