The bottom of the model isn't flat on the build plate.
You can adjust the model or in Cura, select the rotation tool and "lay flat".
Or select the Move tool and set the "Z" to -0.2.
There wasn't enough room in the gap at the right end for Cura to put support. That end would have air-printed. The size would have actually been OK. It was just the skirt that made it look like it wasn't sized correctly.
Edited by GregValiantYoure absolutely right, I realized that after rotate.
I prefer having an issue with the stl file ratrher than with cura.
Is there a way to fix it ? I mean, except move the Z to -0.2 ?
Many thanks
Select the model, select the rotation tool, select "lay flat".
BUT what if the error is in the model and the walls aren't square to the floor? Does it matter? On parts destined for assembly it probably would. With this one probably not. It's just more to think about.
... definitely a design-error... I think it supposed to be flat, but it isn't. Can be fixed by redrawing the item but if height isn't an issue you can as suggested move the Z a little down...
If it's your own design, pay more attention on how things are drawn...
Thanks for all you replies !
Design is not from me, I found it on thingiverse.
Height is not an issue so it fix the issue after move the Z little down
I can now see correct brim over the piece
Will pm the designer to avoid any other people to do same error, to print it straight forward (without move z down first).
Which slicer did you use ? I personally prefer cura but also tried prusa slicer.
I did it in Cura. It's one of 12 slicers I have installed but it is my preference for my personal work.
Best is to leave a comment on Thingiverse instead of a pm... then the designer and everybody else can see there is a little problem with the design and you can tell them how to solve it 😉
I mostly use Cura, but also have PrusaSlicer installed...
Edited by MariDone. 😀 Hope it will help everybody.
I've added two screenshots to the comments on Thingiverse to explain the design-fault 🤪
We are here (and on Thingiverse) to help... Happy Printing...

Please do a "Save Project" and post the 3mf file here. The Y dimension looks OK. How was the Z?
