Posted · NEW TO 3D PRINTING - CAN'T GET STL OR OBJ TO SHOW UP IN CURA

Hey there everyone.

 

I am very new to setting up my models to be 3d printed and have been stuck for quite some time trying to use cura.  I am setting up a print to be printed on my friends 3d printer.  I have modelled my model in sketchup in the correct scale it needs to be scaled at (the face of the block at the bottom is 3.75 x 3.75 inches) in order to be the correct size.  When I bring my STL or OBJ into cura nothing shows up.  If anyone has any fixes for me please let me know, I really can't figure this out.
