bridging line directions

I know about Experimental > Enable Bridging Settings and all its options.

 

Below is a rea case of bridging

• Figure 1: before bridging
• Figure 2: bridging
• Figure 3: upper layer on the bridging layer (not set as Bridging Second Skin)

 

My question is:

 

Is it possible to make the bridging lines (Figure 2) go in the direction of its upper layer (Figure 3)?

 

If possible, most of the bridging lines would have shorter length.
