Posted · how to mark a post as "SOLVED"?

But there is a second way, the way you showed in your initial post:

 

Don't use the tag, use the "Item prefix" below. But I am not sure if you can do it. But you can try if you edit your first posting, then you should get that screen.

    No, I can't do it.

     

    In most forums, only the original author can mark a post as solved. Here only "special" (?) user, but not the author, can mark a post as solved. This is a weird rule.

    You are right, I was not aware that the original author is not able to do it. 

    I will report it to the forum admin, maybe he can enable it somehow.

    @curasurf It should be fixed now! You need to select the tag first, and can then set that as the prefix.
