I have a model with a large void in it that I am trying to not have filled. I have been researching and have tried unchecking/checking "remove all holes", "remove empty first layers", "enable coasting". It is also adding a thin layer on top of a voided area. For that, I tried unchecking/checking "generate support". See attached pictures for my model and what it is showing up as in Cura.

Thank you.

*Note: I flipped it 180 degrees in Cura to try and fix it. It didn't work regardless of the way it was rotated. The pictures are of the flipped model.

That looks like sketchup.  It's easy (much too easy) to have the normals backwards in sketchup.  Notice how some walls are white and some are gray?  Right click on the gray ones (in sketchup) and select "reverse faces".  Once you fixed them all, export to STL again and it should be fine.

    Also labern reccomends these plugins:

    cleanup3 (may be 4 now)
    Solid inspector.
