retraction setting for Cura

Are "Speed" and "Distance" the only retraction settings in Cura? I see people on the web discussing things like, minimum distance to travel before generating a retraction and stuff like that.

I have noticed that sometimes Cura or the machine decides a retraction is needed when traveling and sometimes it doesn't and would like to be able to tweak this setting.

There are additional settings in the expert settings dialog.

Yeah, I found it. Wrongly assumed that all the settings would be in the advanced menu.

BTW, it looks like a number of settings have been removed over time. For example the "enable skin" option described in this guide. http://www.tridimake.com/2012/10/review-settings-for-cura-3d-printing.html

enable skin never seemed like a useful feature to me. It added no more resolution and took longer to print a layer. It's still in version 13.04:
