Posted · Cura 'Texturing' Draft Shield feature request

When printing with ABS plastic on an open printer, the following often happens: first the draft shield cracks and deformes, cold air begins to get to the printed part, and the part itself cracks too.

If you apply the technique that 'CNC Kitchen' talks about, I believe you can strengthen the draft shield and avoid its destruction. ( "Texturing 3D Prints for Strength!" - Apr 24, 2021 )
