I don't believe so, I leave the doors and air handler shut during the change, so I'm not sure what I would be bumping it with. I will try to do a test on a small print to see though.

Can you tell me which firmware version you have installed on your machine?
Do you have a Material Station connected to your printer?
@rdym Are you using the 'pause at height" feature in Cura to initiate your material change?
If yes, then Cura 4.11 (now in beta) contains a fix for that plugin. Initiating a pause in the first 15mm of a print would push the printhead 1 mm in the object on resume. This bug was already fixed when using the layer count as a trigger, but was overlooked for triggering on print height.

@ccr90, I currently have Cura 4.10.0 installed and firmware 6.5.1 installed on the S5. I do not have the material station installed.

@CarloK, no I haven't been using pause at height. Would using this help my situation?

Is it possible that the head is getting bumped during the filament change? If it did it would lose the steps and then the lifting switch would miss the bay when it goes back over and your second nozzle could drag through.
