Bug Multiply selected models does not work - Mac OS 12.0 with Cora V 4.12.0 - Creality printer

I am unable to multiply selected models in Cura - this problem seems to have occurred since upgrading MacOS to Monterey (OS 12.01). I get a message placing objects as shown in screen shot below and it doesn't go away 

 

I believe this could be a potential bug?

Just try, can you duplicate an object?

I can duplicate it in Fusion - and then upload it individually - but that's a pain - especially when you have multiple pieces to print.

I'm seeing the same issue after recently upgrading to macOS Monterey (v12.0.1).

I've never had an issue using "Multiple selected" but now, after updating, it shows the popup notice that it's "Placing Objects" but doesn't actually do anything and the message never disappears.

Just found the Github issue for this particular problem and the nightly version (4.12.99) mentioned in this comment seems to fix the issue. 🎉
