Posted · adding material profiles without losing printer setting profiles

Can someone help me please.  I am trying to add material profiles for ease of use.  I can download the profiles off the market place, and when start cura is ask If I want to sync.  I click yes but then the materials don't show up.  When I create them manually then I lose all the printer settings profile like standard, dynamic or the custom profiles I have created.  Specifically, I am trying to add Taluman3d's pctpe and Esun's carbon fiber nylon, both are in the marketplace when I search for them.
