Posted · Edges of printed part(s) curling up

i have a UM S5 and am having a problem with the edges of printed parts curling up when they are printing near the edges of the printing area.  If I'm printing multiple parts the items printed in the center of the plate are good, those near the edges have curl up on the edges nearest the edge of the plate.  I'm generally using hairspray to help adhesion.

I just finished a print of a long part that had to print diagonally across the plate and the left side was firmly attached to the plate but the right side curled up.  I printed it twice with the same outcome.

Anyone else had the problem? Any suggestions for what the cause is?
