Retraction possible bug

I noticed strange retract behavior when printing certain parts.

My Sidewinder X1 retracts normally when it moves from one part to the next, however, when moving from one section of a part to another (same part) while printing infill, it does not retract. This leaves zits all over the print, but only on the inside.

The outer walls of parts are fine even with multiple parts.

Left is Cura, right is S3D, as close to the same settings as I could get. (So you can see it's not my printer)

In case you wonder why i dont stick with S3D, the following photo is why I like Cura better. S3D tends to make walls hollow. (Right Is Cura)

What other retract settings could be preventing retractions when printing infill?

Thanks

Andrew
