Hi Everyone,

For the last few weeks I've had some really weird printing problems where I'm getting really deep grooves in my prints.  I've leveled the bed countless times, tried different print settings, but I cant figure this out.  See the attached picture.  Anyone ever have this problem and if so, how did you go about fixing it?

Thanks!

    Hey @vikassi17,

Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🚀

Oh wow, that doesn't look good. 😖

I'm super curious what could cause this.

Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.
To save a project file go to File -> Save project.

    Thank you 🙏

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
